The ASPIRE Beverage Company story is simple: Two hockey dads couldn’t find a healthy sports drink for their families — so they created one. The all-natural ASPIRE FIRE, ICE and STORM sports drinks contain all of the good stuff, and none of the bad stuff. The hockey dads wanted to improve the health and performance of athletes. ASPIRE Beverages to be Served at Schools throughout Minnesota in 2013 – 2014

August 12th, 2013

August 12, 2013 — The ASPIRE all-natural FIRE, ICE and STORM sports drinks have quickly become the beverage of choice for many schools throughout Minnesota including dozens of high schools in the Twin Cities. ASPIRE sports drinks contain natural flavors and sweeteners, electrolytes, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals to help improve the health and performance of athletes. With only 35 calories per 12-ounce bottle and no artificial ingredients, ASPIRE meets the new USDA and Alliance for a Healthy Generation guidelines for schools.

Rightfully so, the leading brand sports drinks such as Gatorade and Powerade are facing significant scrutiny due to the high amounts of sugar, empty calories, artificial colors and other harmful ingredients in their products. Health professionals and researchers at the Mayo Clinic, University of Minnesota, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and other local healthcare organizations have been actively advocating the transition to healthier sports drinks, such as ASPIRE, for high school athletics programs, activities and cafeterias.

Look for the blue ASPIRE coolers and bottles on the sidelines of many of the state’s top high school football and soccer fields this fall.

The television commercial will be aired on WCCO4, ESPN, Fox Sports North and the NHL Network. In addition, the company has completed a series of radio commercials to be aired on WCCO Radio, ESPN Radio, KS95, K-TWIN and other stations.

It is clear that many, many other consumers share our frustration with the lack of healthy sports drinks in the marketplace. So far, we’ve relied upon grass roots efforts to build our brand but now it’s time for us to reach more people and increase awareness of ASPIRE with meaningful advertising.”
